This was the worse experience out of all 3 hotels. I have stayed in the Fairmont in Banff and Victoria. Overall, I would not come back to your hotel. I would suggest your hotel to find a more customer friendly and responsible shipping company to recommend to your guests. I was told that Inter-Solutions is not responsible for the damage.
The concierge desk connected me to Inter-Solutions to ship the lamps. I purchased 2 expensive glass lamps while I was there. One of the windows has mold on it due to humidity. I essentially stayed in the dark the whole time. I was unable to keep the curtains of the window open because people sunning outside can look directly into the room. There were children and people running up and down the hall at all hours. It is conveniently located near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), with easy access to shopping, dining and businesses and attractions. My room was right next to the pool and spa. Accommodations Description The Holiday Inn National Airport/Crystal City offers superior comfort for both leisure and business travelers. I was given what I believe to be the worst room in the hotel. I would just say I blame the ownership/management for the inadequate staffing.I booked for 6 nights for a medical conference. The hotel room itself was what you'd expect at a Holiday Inn: clean and comfortable. When I asked the front desk agent why no one was answering the phone, he blamed the fact that they were understaffed - he was there alone and he was doing the best he could. I would have understood if I was told that the shuttle was not available that late, but my phone calls were never answered. I reached the hotel's answering system, but none of the options I selected ever resulted in my call being answered. I called two different numbers a total of four times during my layover in Houston, then two more times when I landed at Reagan. At Holiday Inn National Airport/Crystal City, self-parking is available for a daily rate of 35 USD. It's difficult to say that a hotel has good customer service if they don't answer phone calls.
