He is the TV counterpart of the Evil Emperor Zurg toys in the Toy Story franchise. Zurg, better known as the Evil Emperor Zurg, is the main antagonist of the television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and its 2000 film Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
